Right now, the site is crippled because the server settings have changed and allow_url_fopen has been turned off. For those of you who aren't me and Death Dark, the main site's livelihood is based around that function. I think. DD correct me if I'm wrong.

For now, a redirect to the forum has been established since everything is broken.

According to the error log, Cutenews has been dividing by zero on a daily basis since the 12th. I think we found the reason the site has been going slow.

Cute news has always divided by zero, actually, though most noticeably when you go to respond to a post.

Also, computers handle division by zero surprisingly well.

I think I'll just use this topic again. If it isn't obvious to you, the affiliate banners are now on the bottom of the forum. I've been meaning to put them there for a long, long time, but this recent epic long downtime of the main page shows me that it's a pretty good idea, and I think it's only fair to have them SOMEWHERE that works, since they're being so loyal and not taking us off of their list. (Or maybe they just haven't paid any attention...)

There's still no word on when the problem causing the main site not to function will be resolved.
