The One Man RPG 2

[Death Dark]

     "I didn't hide it.  I merely didn't think it needed to be said.  Besides, saying that I'm 'hiding' something makes it seem like I'm out to get you or something.  I'm just some guy who happens to be very high up in the EA and is chief of a town, and is the wielder of the first of nine, and is to be the end of the world.  Oh, and I also have a new-found problem with my two best lady-friends.  I think that about sums me up."

"You have a choice. You can either tell me three more interesting things about yourself, or get me something to eat. If you do either of these, I'll go break up the war in there." I motion to the wall as a loud thud is heard and a picture frame falls to the ground and shatters.

[Death Dark]

     Ores cringed again.  "I think we both need to go over there.  However, I do not prefer to give out random information about myself.  It takes away from the me you see on the surface.

     "Three things, right?  I have been trained in mild necromancy.  Most of the pervertedness I portray is just an act to build on my false surface persona.  When I'm relaxed most of my mental abilities leave me.  Is that good enough?"

"Well, that certainly is interesting. Alright, let's go save the world."

[Death Dark]

     You followed Ores as he left the room and walked down the hall.  He stopped at the door that would lead to the room that the females of your group were staying in, and he opened it without a key.

     As the door opened fully, Emily rushed out of the room and clung to you.  "Save me, Fish!" she cried.

     You looked around the room to see that it was a terrible mess.  On the wall separating the room from the one Ores and you were staying in were two dents, and a table and chair sitting below them.  From somewhere that Ores and the door were blocking from your view, you could hear loud yelling.

     Ores didn't appear too happy as he stepped into the room.  He yelled out something, and there were two thuds where the voices had been.

     "Hey, Fish, come help me with these two."

I walk into the room to see that both Victoria and Sara were laying on the floor unconscious. "Emily, why did you stay in here with this going on? Why didn't you come get us?"

[Death Dark]

     "I was too afraid to come out of my hiding spot," Emily answered, pointing at the cupboards.

     Ores walked over to Sara and struggled to pick her up.  After he got her in a comfortable position, he hoisted her up and carried her to one of the beds.  You followed his lead, and carried the heavier Victoria to the neighboring bed.

     Emily walked up to Ores and socked him in the shoulder.  "What were you trying to do when you invited Sara to come with us?"

     "I explained that earlier.  She's to be the bearer of the Seventh of Nine."  Ores grabbed one of the spare chairs and sat between the beds.  He rested his right ankle on his left knee, rested his right elbow on his right leg, and rested his head in his hand.  "But how am I ever going to keep them in line?"

"You could cast a spell so that they can't see, hear, smell, touch, or hear one another." I say with a laugh.

[Death Dark]

     "That would require me to either convert one to a nonphysical object, or transport one to a parallel dimension; both options being out of my reach."

     Ores growled in frustration as he stood quickly.  He turned to the two sleeping damsels, and cried, "Why can't you just get over me?  It's better for all of us that way!"

[Sepuku.exe]

I chuckle as I walk out the room. "I'm getting me something to eat."

[Death Dark]

     "No.  You're going to stay here and help Ores figure out a way for those two to live with each other because I have to deal with them as well," Emily ordered.

[Sepuku.exe]

I shout back as I walk into the kitchen. "I can't think on an empty stomach."

[Death Dark]

     "Well you need to hurry up and get something to eat so that you can contribute to the situation."

[Sepuku.exe]

I scrounge around the dining area for a while, and come back empty handed. "There's nothing to eat here. Ores, magic me up some food." I sit down on an empty bed and cross my arms. "Please."

[Death Dark]

     Ores opened his mouth to say something, but Sara stirred a little, and he got distracted.  Slowly, the two women woke.

     "Ores!" Sara cried.  "Thank goodness you came!  Victoria--"

     "Don't you even start on me.  I had Ores first, so I'm not going to give up so easily."

     "Yeah, well if he were so concerned, I don't think he would've moved on."

     "Why you little whor--"

     A great energy came off of Ores with a loud bang, overwhelming the bickering pair, and startling them into silence.

     "I don't want to hear any more of this fighting.  What has happened thus far has been partially a mistake.  I regretfully forgot about Victoria, and I met Sara who, despite how much I cared for her, something kept holding me back.  Regrettably I am now in a situation where I have to choose between the two greatest things to ever happen to me, and neither of you are helping me any.  So, if you two could just try to get along, I can set aside worrying about you two killing each other, and come up with some sort of solution."

     With that, Ores left the room, forcefully closing the door behind him.  Emily grabbed your hand and pulled you out of the room after she grabbed a bag from the kitchen.  She sat down in the hall and motioned for you to sit beside her.
